acrylic & dyes on plywood - 26 x 29cm

I felt like finger painting, so I tried it with acrylic paint on plywood, and then used my batik dyes to stain the background 'leaves'. The acrylic painted parts were like my 'wax', the dyes didn't go through..
The ridges on the physallis are made by pushing the paint to create ridges; the stalks were difficult - finger painting details isn't easy when you have stubby fingers!
